Introducing: Envision
Envision is an advanced multipurpose treatment device which combines the power of two remarkable technologies - the Forma-I (RF) and the Lumecca I (IPL) - to offer a safe, effective, and long-lasting solution for dry eye relief!
All About Envision
Forma-I Radiofrequency (RF):
Forma-I utilizes bipolar radiofrequency (RF) technology to specifically target the symptoms of dry eye disease caused by MGD. Here's how it works:
● Safe Heating for Meibomian Glands: Forma-I safely heats the meibomian glands, gently “melting” the buttery-like substance and aiding in the release of trapped oils.
● Stimulating Collagen Production: This heat stimulation encourages the production of collagen, attracting white blood cells and stem cells to the area. There is an anti-wrinkle effect for the fine lines around the eyes!
● Clearing Obstructions: Forma-I opens up clogged meibomian glands, allowing for improved tear production and secretion in the long run
Lumecca-I IPL (IPL):
The Lumecca-I, unlike traditional IPLs, stands out due to its high-intensity light. This intensified light penetrates deeper into the skin's layers, making it effective for managing dry eye caused by inflammation, ocular rosacea, and Demodex infestations. Lumecca I distinguishes itself from conventional IPL in several ways:
● Higher Light Intensity: Lumecca-I employs a higher light intensity, allowing it to penetrate more deeply into the skin. This makes it more effective in treating conditions like sun damage, acne scars, and rosacea-induced redness.
● Fewer Sessions: Thanks to its higher intensity, you often see faster improvements with Lumecca-I when compared to traditional IPL.
● Shorter Recovery: Patients undergoing Lumecca I can enjoy a shorter recovery period when compared to traditional IPL.
● Less Painful: Due to the advanced cooling technology, Lumecca-I patients report little or no pain during treatment.
A single Lumecca-I treatment can lead to a remarkable improvement in your skin. The best results can be witnessed four to six weeks after treatment. Depending on your specific concerns, our dry eye specialists may recommend a series of sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Lumecca I treatments are quick, typically lasting from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the target area and the severity of the condition. This makes the process straightforward and time-effective, even for the busiest of patients.
